Our concept design is deeply rooted in this complex history and story, reflected in the hotel’s strong Arabic architecture, which supports tradition and provides guests with a profound emotional connection to the location.

Champalimaud Design’s renovation, inspired by the history of Abu Dhabi and the Umm Al Nar culture of the third millennium BCE, brings a focused point of view layered with sophistication and modernity. The design mirrors the traditions and contemporary cultural development of the Emirates, blending a romantic, bespoke, and sophisticated yet understated residential sensibility with a focus on craftsmanship and precision.

Luxurious in every aspect—from the broad concept to the mood of the lighting, to the tactile feel of the materials—the attention to detail is paramount. Every element of the hotel has been designed to make guests feel at home, indulged, and pampered.
